In 2002, we commissioned artist David Bart to create a pictorial representation of the term Lifelong Learning. His painting immediately draws attention with its bold colours, exciting movement, and vibrant images of the interaction between technology, nature, and our human capacity for learning.
Inspired by Bart’s painting, Midland Adult Education Centre adopted Learn for Life as its motto, encouraging learning, not only for the duration of one’s life, but also for a more vibrant, exciting, and healthy life.
